We were traveling thru NC from out of town and looking to grab a quick lunch before we continued and ran across China One in Burlington, NC. Because the building looked a little older, we weren't sure what to expect but the General Tso's chicken and rice was VERY good and plenty for my wife and I to share. People were friendly and the food didn't take too long to get either. If we lived there it could easily be a regular takeout place for us.

I really love this place! I live close by and I go so often that they already memorized my order. The food is always good no matter what it is! They've never disappointed me. The lady who owns the restaurant is always very nice to me and always makes sure I'm satisfied with my order! I highly recommend this place!

Traveling on 1-40. Stopping to eat. Ordered Kung Pao shrimp combo w fried rice and egg roll. Had egg drop soup on side. Veggie had right amount of crunch , rice flavorful and the sauce was excellent. Soup was very good. All came out quick & hot. If I was local, I'd eat here frequently.

The phrase " You can't judge a book by it's cover" may have been invented to describe this place. The exterior and interior don't look very inviting but the service and food well above average.
